Only 18 woman had been admitted to the UW Law School when she applied. There were 40 women in her graduating class. Snohomish County Prosecutor’s office from 1973 to 1981, leaving as chief criminal deputy prosecutor. Appointed as a Snohomish County Superior Court Commissioner 1988. Snohomish County Superior Court’s first female judge 1990. Judge of the Year from the Snohomish County Bar Association.
