We are a nonprofit charitable organization with a mission to support the students, faculty and administration of Ballard High School and enrich the school's programs and activities so that Ballard High School will be a world-class learning center for the benefit of the Seattle community.

Here are some of the things the Ballard High School Foundation is currently doing:

• Raising and contributing funds toward progressive academic offerings such as the new Greenhouse for the Science Department and Bio-technology Academy, the Maritime Academy and books for the John Stanford Library.
• Enriching extracurricular activities in men's and women's athletics, the visual arts, and performing arts, such as drama, band and orchestra.
• Supplementing and upgrading some of the equipment and furnishings that are supplied by the school district.
