How You
Can Participate
We welcome tax-deductible contributions from anyone who wants to
help the students of Ballard High School. To encourage your participation,
we have established three distinct levels of giving, but donations
of any amount are encouraged.
The Millennium Club
This is the designation for those individuals who contribute at
least $1000 to the Ballard High School Foundation. Members will
be recognized in a permanent, commemorative display at the new school,
and will also receive a personalized tile on The Beaver Trail.
The Millennium Club is the backbone of the Ballard High School Foundation's
efforts. Many of your friends and neighbors, as well as many local
businesses, have stepped forward and become part of the Millennium
Club. For your convenience, you can make your Millenium Club contribution
by check or credit card-in one, two or three-year payments.
By donating less than a dollar a day over the next three years,
you can make an enormous impact on the quality of education in our
community.
Beaver Benefactors
This is a special group of people and organizations who make a donation
of $10,000 or more to the Ballard High School Foundation.
Major donors may choose to support the Endowment Fund as well as
supporting a particular BHS activity.
Gifts may be in the form of cash or appreciated stock, which allows
the donor to avoid capital gain taxes. In any case, Beaver Benefactors
are helping the Foundation achieve its goal of creating a world-class
high school at Ballard.
Friends of Ballard High School
Donation of any amount is greatly appreciated, the BHS Foundation
is successful because of its Friends of Ballard High School.
The Beaver Trail
Celebrate Ballard High School's history by leaving your tracks on
the Beaver Trail. The Beaver Trail consists
of tiled walkways, paths and plazas that lead to the new Ballard
High School. You can participate in this historic trek by simply
purchasing a tile engraved with the inscription of your choice.
Your donation to the Beaver Trail will help support the Ballard
High School Foundation. The Foundation provides funds for the enhancement
of academic excellence and helps to provide an enriched high school
experience for all Ballard High School students. One line inscription
$50, two line inscrIption is $55, and a three line inscription $60.
We urge you to participate in the positive goals of the Ballard
High School Foundation by making a financial contribution, by volunteering
your time, and by letting others know about our goals and objectives.
